Measure Distances

To measure a distance on a view:

1. Choose the Measure tool from the Tool Bar.

The measure box opens in the Information Frame.

2. Click for the starting point of the line segment.

The map will refresh showing that point

1. Next, click on another point to either end the

line or continue creating other segments.

Each segment will be displayed in red.

The current segment length and the total measurement appears

in the measure box below the map. These measurements

are displayed in metres.

Click the clear selection button    to start a new line

or line segment.

This will also automatically refresh the view.
